Frequently asked questions

Straight answers. If yours isn't here, ask a person.

The basics

What exactly is this?

We purchase a fixed amount of your business's future receivables at a discount. You receive an upfront amount (the purchase price) now, and we receive a fixed percentage of your deposits until the full purchased amount has been delivered.

It is a commercial transaction between businesses — not debt, and not a consumer product. There's no fixed maturity date: how long it takes depends entirely on your deposits.

How is this different from bank financing?

Banks decide slowly, rely heavily on credit scores and financial statements, and set fixed calendars. We look at your actual deposit activity, a person makes the decision within business hours, and remittance flexes with your revenue rather than a fixed schedule. The trade-off is cost: this is priced for speed and flexibility, and the full cost is shown in dollars before you sign.

How much funding is available, and for how long?

Offers typically range from $5,000 to $250,000 depending on your deposit volume and history. Estimated durations usually run between 3 and 12 months — but every duration is an estimate, since your actual deposits set the pace.

Applying

What do I need to apply?
  • A registered business — LLC, corporation, or partnership — and its EIN
  • Your business bank login (for the secure, read-only Plaid connection) or recent bank statements
  • Basic information about you as the owner or authorized signer
Why do you connect to my bank account?

Your deposits are the fairest picture of your business — fairer than a credit score, and faster than collecting months of paperwork. The connection is read-only and runs through Plaid; we never see your login and the connection cannot move money. If you prefer, you can upload recent bank statements instead, though manual review may take longer.

Will applying affect my credit score?

No. We use a soft inquiry to verify identity and build your offer, and soft inquiries don't affect your credit score. You'll authorize it explicitly before we run it.

I already have an advance with another company. Can I still apply?

Yes — apply, and answer the question about existing funding honestly. We'll see the remittances in your bank activity either way, and an honest answer is never what gets an application declined. What we're assessing is whether total remittances would leave your business healthy.

How fast is the decision?

A human reviewer — not an algorithm — makes every decision. During business hours, most complete applications hear back within a few hours. If we need anything else, we'll ask once, clearly.

The money

What does it cost?

One number: the difference between the purchase price you receive and the total purchased amount you deliver. It's stated in dollars on every offer. There are no ongoing charges that grow over time, and the purchased amount never increases after you sign.

How does remittance work?

You remit a fixed percentage of your deposits — the specified percentage on your agreement — typically collected as an automatic weekly debit. Any dollar figure attached to that debit is an estimate based on your recent deposit history, because the percentage, not the dollar amount, is what you've agreed to.

What if my revenue drops?

Every agreement includes a reconciliation right, in plain language: if your deposits change, you can ask us to review your recent activity and adjust the remittance so it matches the agreed percentage of what you're actually depositing. A slow month is not a default — your remittance is designed to flex with your business.

Can I deliver the purchased amount early?

Yes, any time — just contact us for a payoff quote. Early delivery never costs extra.

Your data

How is my information protected?

Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest, and the most sensitive values — bank connection tokens and Social Security numbers — are additionally encrypted at the application layer before they reach our database. Bank credentials never touch our systems at all; they go directly to Plaid. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

How do I disconnect my bank account?

Email us at any time to revoke access, or manage the connection yourself through Plaid's own portal. The step-by-step process, and what happens to already-collected data, is described in the Privacy Policy.
